How it Works
We raise a small number of Beef Steers that are generally butchered every fall.
Sold by the half
local butcher will contact you for custom cut and wrap instructions
$$ is due at time of dispatch to the Farm ($4.50 per lb)
$$ is due to butcher at time of pick up (cut and wrap and slaughter fee)
Here is an example: (steers all vary in weight)
Hanging weight = 700lbs hanging
700 divided by 2= 350 lbs per half steer
350 x $4.50 = $1575 due to Rancher
350 x $1 per lb cut and wrap (may vary) Due to Butcher = $350
$1575 +$350 =$1925 for half a steer
